Courtroom Sound Muting

As a broadcast network, Court TV is subject to the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These rules include restrictions on broadcasting profane language. There may be times during a trial when profane language has been spoken during testimony and offered as recorded evidence.  When such language occurs in a court proceeding broadcast on our network, Court TV operators mute the audio in accordance with FCC rules.
